The Central London data centre has been placed on the UK Technology Fast 50 list by the New York based professional services firm
17TH NOVEMBER 2017, LONDON, UK: Volta Data Centres, a Central London carrier-neutral data centre, has been recognised as one of the UK’s fastest growing technology businesses.
The award-winning data centre has been placed on the UK Technology Fast 50 list, which is compiled each year by professional services firm Deloitte, ranking number 20 among the country’s fastest growing tech companies.
Now in its 20th year, the Fast 50 list recognises the most innovative technology businesses in the country based on revenue growth over the last four years, while celebrating entrepreneurship.
Jonathan Arnold, Managing Director, Volta Data Centres, said: “We are thrilled to have been recognised as one of the fastest growing technology businesses in the UK and very pleased to feature so highly on this list.
“This is a validation of all the hard work that has gone into the business since we opened in 2013, and the praise needs to go to our team which works consistently hard to provide excellent service and a big thank you to our clients that have allowed us to grow so quickly. ”
This latest recognition caps what has been a successful year for the business, which was awarded ‘Colocation provider of the Year’ at the DCS Awards in May, and welcomed a number of new clients from the FTSE 100 and US Fortune 500 to its central London data centre.
Being placed on the UK list means Volta will now be put forward to the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) programme.
Arnold added: “While this is great recognition of the work we have done in the past few years, we will continue to push ahead in challenging the industry norms, and we are confident that we will continue to grow and be a key strategic partner to our clients.”
